Pattaya: Russian woman robbed of cash and phone worth 14,000 baht

PATTAYA: -- A Russian woman in on Tuesday became the latest victim of Pattaya’s infamous motorcycle bag snatchers.

 

Awastdsita Solodking, 33, told police she was walking back to her room at Soi Sea Hill 5 around 11pm when she was approached by two men on a motorcycle who snatched her handbag.

 

The bag contained 4,000 baht in cash and a mobile phone worth 10,000 baht, the woman said.

 

A witness told Siamchon News that the suspects were seen waiting in the area before the robbery took place.

 

Police said they will examine CCTV footage of the area to try and identify the suspects.
